Frequently around this time of year, as we're all getting ready for bathing suit season, my clients want to know my secret to get rid of ingrown hairs! If you've not had problems with ingrown hairs consider yourself lucky! Most of us that get bikini waxes regularly will from time to time encounter this problem. Fortunately PFB Vanish will help get rid of ingrown hairs as well as razor bumps!
PFB Vanish can be used by men AND women and can be used on the face, neck, underarms, bikini area, legs, chest, etc. Another great remedy to get rid of ingrown hairs is to exfoliate daily using a loofah, scrubbing mitts, or even just a washcloth. Also, keeping up on your waxing schedule will help prevent ingrown hairs as well. I recommend that my clients schedule their bikini waxes regularly every 4 weeks without any shaving in between. Until next time! Tracy P.S. Brazilian/ Bikini waxing happens to be one of my specialties, and the three most common questions/ comments that I hear are:
1. Will it hurt? - Yes. It will be a little uncomfortable because we are removing the hair from the follicle. I am pretty good at what I do, and that is not bragging. I have spent a lot of time in the classroom, use only the best products that I can find to include skin prepping products and post waxing skin care products prior to you leaving my room. Lastly, I have done thousands of waxing services. To help with the discomfort of waxing, you can always use a topical numbing product prior to your service like PFB Numb It: http://neatkitty.com/pfbvannumbit.html 2. How can I get rid of ugly ingrown hairs? - Exfoliation with a detoxifying cleanser and body buffing cloth or loofa and the use of a topical ingrown hair product like PFB Vanish http://neatkitty.com/pfbvan4oz.html 3. Grey Pubic hair, UGH! We cover the grey on our heads so why not down there? As a nation, we spend hundreds of millions of dollars annually on beauty services, anti aging products, plastic surgery, and Botox. When the clothes come off....bam!... grey hair! Doesn't really match up with that beautiful blonde, auburn, chocolate brown, or the firey red hair that is on your head now does it? Well ladies, no need to be embarrassed because there is a fantastic product made just for the hair down there...Betty Beauty. Betty Beauty products are gentle, easy to use, affordable and come in all sorts of natural colors as well as super fun colors like hot pink, lilac, baby blue, and bright valentine red! Check them out here http://neatkitty.com/funkitty.html Until next time! Tracy Labels: waxing by: Neat Kitty
Before I started NeatKitty.com, many of my clients would come to me with problems and questions about a number of different skin care and waxing treatments.
One thing I noticed is that lots of the questions were the same and I often found myself recommending items that were not included in the mainstream types of items carried at the salon where I do my waxing and skin care treatments. Instead of sending my clients to a variety of different places to locate these items, I created NeatKitty.com to be their destination for high quality, trusted (and sometimes fun), products that will meet their needs. I created NeatKitty.com for those of you that I don't see in my waxing studio / skin care center so that you too can benefit from the advice of a licensed and trained esthetician. I have personally used almost all of the products that you will find featured on NeatKitty.com and have put them through the test before adding them to our site. Please feel free to direct any of your skin care questions to me personally via email at tracy From time to time, I will be sharing answers to various skin care questions right here on this blog! Welcome to my first post for the new NeatKitty.com blog!
For my first blog, I thought I would let you know a little bit about me. Out of respect for your time, my blog posts will never be long and drawn out. To quote a great friend (my husband) "be brief, be bright, be gone". That said, this will probably be the longest one that I write. To start with, let me introduce myself. My name is Tracy Blankenship. My husband/business partner have been married for 10 years and have 4 teenagers between the two of us. That's right I said it 4 teenagers, and three adorable miniature schnauzers. We currently live in Temecula, California. Just a few trivial points of interest about me would be : Favorite Color- Lavender Favorite Vacation Spot- Aruba Favorite Beverage - Water (coffee really but water is better for me) Favorite Cocktail - Grey Goose Martini no Vermouth with blue cheese stuffed olives Hobbies - Scuba Diving, Hiking, and I love to read Astrological Sign - Taurus Ok...moving on. I have been a licensed esthetician in the state of California for 8 years. Prior to my career in skin care, I was a manager for a consumer products sales and marketing company for 11 years. Loved, loved, loved my job but could not ignore my passion for skin care. When the opportunity arose for me to leave my job and go to school to become an esthetician, I took it. Stay tuned for my next post, where I'll talk about why I started NeatKitty.com! Thanks for reading! Tracy
